Time is ticking and everyone is working hard to finish the tour homes for this years COBA 2011 Tour Of Homes.  It's always busy and a little stressful but somehow the houses always get done.

 

During all the scurrying around I took some time to reflect on our tour houses the past few years. We've had the opportunity to work on some great houses and even won a few awards in the meantime!

It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful an area we live and work.  I'm sitting out on an amazing patio at a home I completed last summer and now the plants are out and thriving.  There are so many important pieces that have to come together to make a home spectacular.  One very important finishing piece is the landscaping.  Landscape artists are amazing individuals and must have such a wonderful soulful career.  I am always in awe and thankful of their work.  They help complete the projects I've worked so hard on and it makes all the difference.

 

Living in central Oregon, we cherish the summers.... some years we might only have 3-4 months of our beautiful flowers and yards!  But when summer finally hits and you have a moment in the sun on a beautiful landscaped patio with views of the majestic mountains or the incredible river canyons or both... It can be bliss!

And here we go... My first blog.  I'm not real sure about this, I've never been much of a blogger so forgive me if I make mistakes.  At least I'm a pretty quick study(most of the time).

 

It does seem silly it has taken me so long to complete our website.  I know there are no excuses for delay but the truth is we've just been busy working.

 

In preparation for my current task I have been studying some amazing blogs lately.  How interesting and inspired life can be with the help of the internet!
